I’m so glad I stopped in that village yesterday — it turned out to be the last one before the pass. If I had kept going, I would've had to ride for hours more in freezing wind. But this morning, I woke up feeling renewed and ready to move on. Right outside the village, I spotted a group of baby yaks — absolutely adorable.
