Award-winning English and Inuit singer/songwriter Susan Aglukark shared in spreading the hope of the Gospel in the Canadian Arctic last October at the Rankin Inlet Celebration of Hope. Aglukark, who has been nominated for five Juno Awards and won three, was one of several Christian musicians who performed and shared their testimonies. Do you speak Inuktitut? Have you heard these words before? Tuppittia Qitsualik is an archivist working on CBC North's Indigenous Languages archives project. The project will eventually see all of CBC North's archived Indigenous language programming digitized and made available online. Qitsualik is highlighting four words she's come across that she's never heard before: ujumariarngmut, saggagutialuk, tajaarniq and uivvat. Two seem to be hunting words and two seem to be about an emotional state. H
