Here’s the simplest way to shield your PRS guitar: 1. Open the cavities: Remove the backplate, pickup covers, and toggle switch plate. 2. Stick copper tape: Line the inside of all cavities (pickup, electronics, toggle switch) with copper tape. Make sure the pieces overlap slightly. 3. Connect to ground: Ensure the copper tape touches a grounded part, like the back of a potentiometer. 4. Reassemble: Put everything back together and test. Done! This will reduce noise and hum.
