I am a high school art teacher, and we create linocut designs based on a personal memory. I have a printing press, but I like having students print by hand. It saves time in a busy classroom and gives a more personalized experience. Here’s how the sausage is made 🌭. 6 color linoleum block prints for @primusville, handmade with love by yours truly. Six colors means each print has gone through the press 6 times, each time I carve away at the linoleum plate to slowly reveal the final image. The entire edition has to dry overnight between each color so this is over a weeks printing condensed to 90 seconds. Heard these were a big hit at the show and folks are asking about my artist edition. My copies will be dropping on the 28t
