Richmond was called to a local Household Recycle centre. The call was for a Lithium battery in thermal runaway on fire and smoking. The staff on site quickly evacuated when the fire started as smoke and fumes engulfed the site. The fire service inspected the battery and submersed it in water to fully extinguish it.
