Last month, our #AMEOs deployed a new Speed Measurement Device (SMD) during enforcement operations against errant active mobility users. 💡 Developed with Temasek Polytechnic, the SMD can detect devices that have been modified to exceed the maximum speed limit of 25km/h for PAB/PMDs and 10km/h for PMAs. 🔍 Our officers detected 246 offences last month, such as riding or keeping non-compliant devices. They impounded 91 devices, of which 18 were caught using the SMD’s speed detection capabilities.
